I have just had a look at your brilliant pictures and think that the last two show 2 of the 3 shops operated by Jimmy Rigby and his family. The 3rd was at the other end of Sidwell Street (where the student accommodation is).
ReplyDeleteOne of the shops - probably in Paris Street - was involved in a possible looting case in 1942.
