Not just in Exeter but all across the country, especially in the 1950s and 1960s. What is unfortunate about the situation in Exeter is that a large area was destroyed in the 1930s, a quite different area was destroyed in 1942 and much of what remained was destroyed in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.
